I am sorry to report, that when I tried to use your App at full strength, the problem reappeared.

I just purchased another year for the search feature. I hop you can get it to behave in the future.

Hi, New development : i deleted Usenetic and all the files it created, including the preference file. I downloaded a new copy, provided it with all new server info, set the folders, and started a search and tried to download the same files as before. It seems to have solved the problem for now. Hi, thanks for reacting so quickly. I am not sure what you are referring to as a 'fileset'. I did however put the Memory setting on 4 GB and it still went up to very high: see screenshot. The fileset (if it is what I am thinking it is) didn't even begin downloading, the 1st Par file had started, but...

It seems I have v.1.3.1 and the problem still occurs on my Mojave 10.14.5 MacPro 5,1 - RAM 18 GB, the very fast pice Msata ssd download drive is 120 GB empty, just for use by Usenetic downloads, but the Activity monitor reports 20 GB RAM in use by Usenetic.
